Designed to be narrower than nearby buildings, this building should be architecturally impressive and is said to be wider at the top of the building than at the base.
Views should be similar to that of The Mark at 1372 Seymour Street and the 501 at 501 Pacific Street both built by Onni.
At the time of writing completion dates are unknown.
This concrete tower will be tall and should be 43 stories and will be targeted at downsizing homeowners who want large condos in Yaletown.
Expect 117 suites in total with 3 suites per floor. This number is expected to change as there options to buy a full floor, a half a floor, or potentially to entire floors.
Suites at the Charles will be large with minimum suite size to be expected to be no smaller than 1000sf.
Expect Sub-Zero & Wolf appliances, air-cooling/conditioning and ultra luxury finishings that should be better than the trim levels seen at The Mark at 1372 Seymour recently completed by Onni.
Luxury services and support will be major design features of this building. The concierge area will have a cooler for food delivery services such as Spud and the building will also have pay as you go laundry/dry cleaning services in the building.
Most of the suites in the building will have individual secure 2 car parking garages with their own individual garage doors. Wine coolers will also be included in the underground parking garages.
Onni wants prospective buyers to know there is a broad scope for customization of these suites as well as lots of options for amalgamation of suites.
The building comes with three suites per floor, but sources tell me that Onni is open to amalgamating 2 or potentially 3 suites per floor to create suites that encompass an entire floor. Furthermore, there may be an option to have suites that take up half of an entire floor as opposed to 1/3 or 2/3′s of a floor.
