$7.5-billion for 10 years, but let's not ask the Developers for any of that....
Even though their developments are creating the density, but not funding the necessary transit. Sure, as the mayor points out there's no way for developers to possibly fund $7.5-billion over 10 years, but that's no reason just to completely dismiss the idea. Or, is it because developers have donated almost $2-million dollars to Gregor's office that has fueled his answer.
Gregor says, "it's not going to come from development fees" from Developers.
Vancouver’s ruling civic party has already raised $2.2-million this year alone, with corporations – especially those in the local development industry – accounting for two-thirds of that.
